ASN - Horns, Hooves & Hugs
Following the success of our animal experiences, we're pleased to offer dedicated Horns, Hooves & Hugs ASN Sessions this summer.
These sessions have been designed for individuals and families who may benefit from a smaller group experience, with reduced participant numbers and a more relaxed pace.
During your 20-minute session, you'll have the opportunity to:
• Groom a Highland Coo
• Groom a Water Buffalo
• Cuddle Pygmy Goat Kids
• Spend time with our friendly Pygmy Goat Herd
• Meet a Hen and her Chicks
To help create a calmer environment, we limit these sessions to a maximum of 8 participants within the animal paddock at any one time.
These sessions are scheduled at quieter times of the day, either at the beginning or end of our event programme, to help reduce overall activity levels. However, as we are a working farm and public attraction, we cannot control visitor numbers in other areas of the site outside of the session itself.
Following your animal experience, you're welcome to enjoy our Family Area, including inflatables (weather permitting), sand pits and straw stack.
Accessibility Information
We welcome wheelchair users and visitors with additional needs. If you have any accessibility requirements, please contact us before your visit and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
Please note that the animal experience takes place in a field environment. Whilst we have successfully welcomed wheelchair users in previous years, the ground can be uneven, rough and weather dependent.

As with all of our animal experiences, the welfare of our animals is our highest priority. Session numbers are carefully managed to ensure a positive experience for both visitors and animals.
We look forward to welcoming you for a calm, enjoyable and memorable visit to The Buffalo Farm.
Don't forget to create an account when booking.
Creating an account allows you to manage and amend your booking online should your plans change. During the summer holidays, our office receives a high volume of enquiries, so we may not always be able to process booking changes before alternative sessions sell out.
To avoid disappointment and give yourself the greatest flexibility, we recommend creating an account and managing any changes directly through your booking portal.
