FAQs / Help

Are you dog friendly?

Dogs are welcome at Boglily when kept on a short lead.
For hygiene reasons, dogs are not permitted inside the Farm Shop or The Bothy. However, we do have outdoor seating available, and water bowls can be filled on request.

For the welfare of our animals, if your dog reacts (for example by barking) at the animals around the farm, we kindly ask that you move them away from that area.

Guide dogs are welcome in both the Farm Shop and The Bothy.

What should we wear?

We recommend wearing old, comfortable shoes, and bringing wellies or boots in case the weather turns wet during our events.

Please remember that we are a working farm, so things can get a little muddy. We suggest wearing waterproofs or clothes you don’t mind getting dirty.

As you know, Scottish weather can be very unpredictable, so it’s best to come prepared for sunshine, wind, or rain.

Is there parking available on-site?

Yes, we have free parking available on-site. During our event season, we kindly ask that you park as close as possible to other cars to help us make the best use of the space and ensure everyone can find a place to park.

Is the event accessible for wheelchairs or prams?

We have welcomed wheelchair users and prams in the past. However, please note that our events take place in a field, so the terrain can be uneven and rough in places. It is entirely up to you to decide how comfortable you feel navigating this type of ground.

Is there disabled parking?

Yes, we have designated disabled parking available. There is also a ramp providing access to the Farm Shop and The Bothy, as well as an accessible bathroom on site.

Do I need to book tickets in advance?

We always recommend booking your tickets in advance to secure your spot, especially for events with limited dates or session times.

Can I buy tickets on the day?

You can book tickets right up until the event start time, provided there is availability. If you are already at Boglily and would like to take part, simply head to the event check-in desk to see if spaces are still available.

What happens if it rains? Will the event still go ahead?

Our events will go ahead in the rain. If an event needs to be cancelled due to severe weather, we will announce this on our social media channels and contact ticket holders to arrange rebooking.

Are tickets refundable or transferable?

All bookings are non-refundable. However, if you contact us in advance, we may be able to move your booking to another date or time (subject to availability), or the tickets can be transferred to someone else.

What time should we arrive?
