Goat Cuddles and Playtime – Terms & Conditions
• Please note that all tickets are non-refundable. However, if you create a customer account when placing your order, you’ll be able to log in and change your session date and time slot (subject to availability) up to 24 hours before the event. If you didn’t create an account at the time of booking, don’t worry—just give us a call on 01592 646252 and we’ll be happy to help move your booking if needed.
• There will strictly be a no ticket, no session policy. Participant numbers are limited per session to ensure animal welfare and a safe, enjoyable experience for everyone.
• All children must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult at all times. Children remain the responsibility of the accompanying adult throughout the visit.
• Under 18s MUST attend with a parent or legal guardian. Under 2s may attend free of charge and do not require a ticket.
• Sessions last approximately 20 minutes. Please arrive promptly for your allocated time slot. If you are late, your session time may be reduced, and entry cannot be guaranteed once the session has started.
• The welfare of our animals is our top priority. Please follow all staff instructions at all times while inside the goat pen. Goats may nibble, jump, or behave unpredictably. By purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge that interaction with animals carries inherent risks. The Buffalo Farm accepts no responsibility for minor scratches, nips, or soiled clothing.
• As a precaution, women who are, or who may be pregnant must avoid close contact with the animals.
• Unreasonable, unsafe, or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated. The Buffalo Farm reserves the right to refuse entry or remove anyone behaving in a way that is unsafe or harmful to animals, staff, or other visitors. No refund will be issued in these circumstances.
• The risk of infection from farm visits is very small, but the diseases caused can be serious. Therefore, your hands MUST be washed thoroughly after contact with animals and always before eating, using soap and water (wipes, gels, and sprays are not effective). Handwashing facilities are available on-site.
• Children must be supervised during handwashing to ensure it is carried out properly. Young children may require additional assistance.
• This is a working farm. Sensible footwear is required (wellies or sturdy shoes recommended). Please dress appropriately for the weather, as sessions take place outdoors and operate come rain or shine.
• Sessions will proceed in most weather conditions. In the event of extreme or unsafe weather, The Buffalo Farm reserves the right to reschedule or cancel sessions if necessary.
• Visitors are welcome to take photographs for personal use. The Buffalo Farm may take photographs or videos for promotional purposes. Please inform a member of staff on arrival if you do not wish to appear in marketing material.

Lamb Feeding – Terms & Conditions

• There will strictly be a no ticket, no session policy. For the welfare of our animals, session slots are limited.
• Anyone under 18 MUST always be accompanied by an adult, and their care remains the responsibility of the accompanying adult at all times.
• If you are more than 15 minutes late, the lambs will be fed as part of their daily routine.
• The risk of infection from farm visits is very small, but the diseases caused can be very serious. Therefore, your hands MUST be washed after contact with animals and always before eating, using soap and water (wipes, gels, and sprays are not effective). Handwashing stations are available on-site.
• Children should be supervised during handwashing to ensure it is carried out thoroughly. Young children may require additional assistance.
• Do not allow children who are petting the animals to place their face or mouth against the animals or put their hands in the animals’ mouths.
• As a precaution, women who are, or who may be pregnant must avoid close contact with the animals.

ZooLab – Terms & Conditions
• Please note that all tickets are non-refundable. However, if you create a customer account when placing your order, you’ll be able to log in and change your session date and time slot (subject to availability) up to 24 hours before the event. If you didn’t create an account at the time of booking, don’t worry—just give us a call on 01592 646252 and we’ll be happy to help move your booking if needed.
• There will strictly be a no ticket, no session policy. Spaces are limited to ensure a safe, structured, and high-quality experience for all participants and for the welfare of the animals.
• Anyone under 18 MUST always be accompanied by an adult, and their care remains the responsibility of the accompanying adult at all times.
• The minimum age for participation is 2 years old. All participants must have a valid ticket.
• If you are more than 15 minutes late, entry to the session may not be permitted, as workshops run to a structured timetable and cannot be delayed. Late arrivals may forfeit their session.
• This event is hosted by The Buffalo Farm but led and delivered by ZooLab’s trained presenters. All instructions given by ZooLab staff must be followed at all times.
• The safety and welfare of ZooLab presenters and their animal team is of the utmost importance. Unreasonable, disruptive, or unsafe behaviour will not be tolerated. If a presenter feels they or their animals are at risk, they have the right to stop the session immediately without refund.
• Animals attending on the day may vary slightly. For allergy awareness, a furry animal such as a rat or gerbil may be included depending on your booked workshop.
• As a precaution, women who are, or who may be pregnant should avoid handling certain animals and must inform the presenter before the session begins.
• The risk of infection from animal contact is very small, but the diseases caused can be serious. Therefore, your hands MUST be washed thoroughly after contact with animals and always before eating, using soap and water (wipes, gels, and sprays are not effective). Handwashing facilities will be available on-site.
• Children must be supervised during handwashing to ensure it is carried out thoroughly. Young children may require additional assistance.
• Do not allow children to place their face or mouth against the animals, kiss the animals, or put their hands in an animal’s mouth.
• The event takes place in our partially covered outdoor courtyard. Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear sensible footwear.
• Access to the family play area and bouncy castle (weather permitting) is included, but it remains the responsibility of parents/guardians to supervise children at all times.
• Each participating ticket includes one pack of Buffalo Mozzarella, redeemable from the farm shop on the day of your visit. No cash alternative is available.
