Calf Bottle Feeding

Calf Bottle Feeding

We want to offer the chance to bottle feed one of our NEWEST CALVES. Such a unique experience that we have just started to offer! Feed either Bluey our Belgium Blue calf or Galloway our Galloway calf!

This event is running the whole of the summer holidays, starting on the 16th of July! But you must be quick as we are only offering three sessions per day!

Please note afternoon sessions running from 17th - 22nd July Bluey will be the calf you feed even if you choose Galloway.

You will meet the team at 8:50am or 16:00pm sharp to check in at Events Area (left of car park as driving in) at Boglily Steadings. You will then be directed to the calf shed to make up your bottle and feed your calf. We will welcome you to feed them inside the paddock, but you can feed them from the outside.  There will be several great photo opportunities, so don’t forget to tag us in anything you upload.

We can’t guarantee how long it will take your calf to finish their milk – some are quick, others like to take their time. Please note if a calf is double booked, the customer who booked first will recieve that calf.

You will also get access to our inflatables (weather permitting), sand pits and straw stack within our Family Area.

We have a strict maximum of 2 people per bottle.  It is £12 for a bottle. We have no age limit for this event but anyone under 18 MUST be accompanied by an adult; we don’t allow anyone under 6 to hold the bottle alone.

Dress for the Weather! It is Summer in Scotland, so wrap up warm if it’s cold, waterproof coats, wear sensible shoes – wellies/old trainers are ideal, but the sun may shine - so bring your sunscreen just in case! Bug spray is highly recommended as we are a working farm in the height of summer, we sell SMIDGE in our Farm Shop if needed.

Don't forget to create an account when booking.

Creating an account allows you to manage and amend your booking online should your plans change. During the summer holidays, our office receives a high volume of enquiries, so we may not always be able to process booking changes before alternative sessions sell out.

To avoid disappointment and give yourself the greatest flexibility, we recommend creating an account and managing any changes directly through your booking portal.

If you have any questions, give us a call 01592 646252. Look forward to seeing you THIS SUMMER!
